Autumn & Fall Foliage Days at “The Fox”
September 30th to October 14th

Time spent at Fox Carlton Sporting Camps, Campground & RV Sites can do wonders for your mind, body, and spirit.

Imagine a wilderness getaway in the Western Mountains of Maine. Fox Carlton is just that. Set on 63 acres in the Western Maine Mountains, this refuge from the persistent buzz of pedestrial life is a tether to a world many of us miss.

The western Maine forests are home to deer, fox, moose, quail, pheasant, turkeys, ducks, and some shy black bears and of course our own private 5 acre trout pond. Fox Carlton Pond is home to both rainbow trout and brook trout. We offer some of the best fly-fishing around on our private pond as well as the Sandy River which abuts our property. Hikers can enjoy direct access to “The Fly Rod Crosby Trail” as well as nearby hikes up Angle Falls, Daggett Rock, Small Falls, Mt. Blue or Tumbledown Mountain. Mountain Bikers can enjoy the nearby challenges of one of the best Mountain Bike trails in New England plus have direct Access to Maine’s many miles of ATV trails directly from your cabin, RV or Tent. Or take an auto self-guided tour of the Western Maine Mountains during Fall Foliage.

Maine Guides will be happy to guide you to some of the last fishing of the season. Prior reservations recommended for this trip.
